A new scheme is being introduced to help young veterinary graduates connect with other graduates across the UK. Vet Grad is an informal way for graduates to socialise and support one another.

Moving to a completely new area into a stressful job with often unsocial hours can be crippling for some new graduates. If nothing else, this scheme should make the transition from student to practicising vet a little easier, providing a platform for people in similar situations to relate to one another.

Vet Grad will be formally announced at the next BEVA Congress in September.
